Contained in a small cage - whether to protect it from the locals or to protect the locals from it is unclear - this single stone stands around 2 metres (6 feet) tall within the pavement of a housing estate on the southside of Edinburgh. It was moved a very short distance to this location, and fixed in concrete with the surrounding railing, when the estate was built.
