Darndaff Moor
Greenock, Inverclyde
Hut Circle Canmore
Also known as Darndaff Moor

From the perspective of a 21st century walk across a bleak and boggy moor, it's hard to see what the appeal was of building your home on this particular spot a couple of thousand years ago.

Presumed to be Bronze Age or Iron Age, a circular stone bank foundation a couple of metres thick remains as a shadow of a timber and turf roundhouse.
