Na Clachan Bhreige, near Kirkibost on the road down to Elgol, is the only definite stone ring (as far as I am aware) on Skye. It is maybe a 3/4 mile walk from the road. If, like me, you tend to take your holidays out of season when the weather is perhaps a little on the damp side, you may find the route to this site to be made up largely of sucking peat bog; the wee burn may also turn out to be more of an obstacle that in high summer. When you get to the circle, you may well think: "Why on earth did I bother?"
This is normal. This is sane. But there are some great views in the area!
