Menteith 16
Aberfoyle, Stirling
Cup and Ring Marks Canmore HES
Also known as Nether Glenny

In the hills immediately to the north of the Lake of Menteith is an area rich with ancient rock art. Many decorated outcrops and boulders are known, and more turn up regularly.

This particular outcrop barely rises above turf level. There are several very obvious natural deep depressions. With the right light it can also be seen to be covered with over 40 cup marks, many of which have one or two rings around them and one surrounded by five clear rings.
