This lone standing stone stands in the middle of a field and is very clear against the north horizon from the main road. There's a very convenient parking area and picnic site just a short walk away.
It stands about 3 metres tall and is roughly triangular in section. There's a collection of field-clearance stones around it's base and it has been knocked around a bit as you might expect from a stone in the middle of a farmed field. There's a particularly ugly O.S. benchmark symbol carved into the lower part of the south face.
Just 2km directly south is the prominent hill fort of Trapain Law and 8km north is the distinctive cone of North Berwick Law.
