This splendid stone circle, on Cambret Moor near Kirkcudbright, consists of twenty-eight low stones in a fifty-foot diameter ring. At their centre stands a six-foot high grey granite stone. There is a gap in the southwest arc, suggesting that a stone may be missing.
The interior of the circle is strewn with cobble-sized stones.
